Bezior is a relatively new brand in the world of electric bikes. It was created in the wake of the pandemic, and has capitalized on the growing demand for bicycles, particularly electric bikes. Bezior markets dozens of models, and today I'm going to focus on the Bezior X1500, which falls into the folding mountain bike category. It's an unusual combination, but one that will clearly appeal to a specific segment of the population - it's not a bike for just anyone

Overview

The frame of the Bezior X1500 is a little unusual. The battery is installed horizontally in the top bar, leaving a large gap underneath compared to other bikes of this type. This is clearly not a bike for going for a ride, it's designed for off-road riding and preferably on difficult terrain.

It's fitted with two double-sprung oil shocks, one at the fork and one under the seat. Most fat bikes have only one shock at the front, but the presence of the second shock further reinforces the idea that this bike is designed for riding in difficult conditions.

The Bezior X1500 is fitted with 26-inch wheels like most bikes of this type, but the tires here are wide enough (4 inches) to ensure maximum grip on difficult terrain.

This bike is foldable, but that doesn't mean you can take it everywhere with you. Even when folded, its dimensions are still considerable, and you'll need a big enough car boot to take it on board. It will take up a space of just over a metre by a metre, with a height of around 50cm. So this isn't a bike you're going to take on public transport - in fact, at 22kg, it's a little too heavy for that.

The Bezior X1500 is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes for very powerful braking, and the shape is optimized to dissipate heat quickly.

Configuration

The Bezior X1500 is equipped with a 1500W motor (max power, in reality this bike produces 960W) at the rear, accompanied by a 9x3 gear configuration (Shimano brand). You can change gears from the handlebars, with one lever for the chainring and another for the cassette

The motor is artificially limited to 25km/h, but it can be unbridled to go beyond 40km/h, but with this speed level it will no longer be considered a bicycle in most European countries. The torque will allow you to reach 25km/h in less than 5 seconds.

Battery

This bike is fitted with a 12.8Ah 48V battery, clearly not the biggest, but for this type of bike it's less important, as it's not a road bike. The advertised range is 100 km without constant assistance, but the reality will probably be less than that, especially if you're riding over rough terrain. Charging time should be between 5 and 6 hours

Screen

The display is fairly simple but perfectly legible, giving essential information such as speed, battery level, assistance level and kilometers covered. There is no possibility of adding GPS guidance, however
